Description of the Story

Society, as the Prescott family knows it, is about to change...infact collapse. The President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints has started final preparations for the members of the church, and Garth Prescott has been given an assignment to help in those preparations. He has been trying to prepare his family for the time when the Prophet calls all the saints to gather together for protection, but they aren't all on board with that plan.
    A few of the family follow the Prophet and go to the Zion Camp with other members of the church.  A couple of them go to their acreage where they've been stock piling supplies and weapons.  Another plans to let the government take care of her and her mother. 

     Little do they know that they will be endangering their lives and forfeiting their freedom. 

As the economy colapses and food runs low it becomes more dangerous for those who didn't go to Zion's camp.  

     They experience the consequences of their choices and it isn't what they expect. There's dissapointment, heart ache and death involved. They, with others of a similar mind set, decide they have to follow their heart and escape to find the Zion Camp.

      They only know a general direction of the camp so they have to put their faith in Jesus Christ that he will help to guide them. They are hunted by the military, have to survive natural dissasters, and overcome their fears as they travel as a group towards an unknown destination. 

     Their trials help them to develop the faith necessary to be guided by the the light of christ to the Zion Camp and their family. They experience the literal protection Christ promises his saints as they encounter dangers, dissasters, and as they are confronted by the invading military force that wants to eliminate christians and control the country. 

     It is a journey of dealing with loss, finding love, and developing their faith.
